We provide services to you through our website and those services are provided to you on the basis of these terms and conditions. Please note that they may vary from time to time without notice to you. By using the website, owned and operated by Bebeco, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

If you do not agree with the terms and conditions, you may not use or access the website. By visiting our site, accessing any part of our site or purchasing something by placing an order with Bebeco through this site you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms.

If we choose not to enforce a right under our agreement, that decision will not prevent us from enforcing other rights, or the same right on a later occasion.

Governing Law

English law will govern our agreement in accordance with the laws of England, irrespective of your domicile, in the event of any dispute associated with these terms and conditions. The dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English Courts, who will resolve any disputes exclusively.

DISCLAIMER

We will not be liable to you for any breach of our agreement, for delay or failure to perform if the delay or failure is due to, including but not limited to, act of God, fire, flood, storm, earthquake, tidal wave, communications failure, sabotage, war, military operation, terrorist attack, national emergency, mechanical or electrical breakdown, general failure of the postal or banking system, civil commotion, strikes, or the order, requisition, request or recommendation of any governmental agency or acting governmental authority, or either our compliance therewith or government proration, regulation, or priority, or any other similar cause beyond either our reasonable control.

Placing an order

Orders can be placed via our website; this service is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

To place your order simply select the items you require and place in the shopping basket. You can view your shopping basket at any time by selecting the 'view cart' link. Once you have selected all your items go to the 'checkout'. You will be asked for a number of personal details, which we require to verify and process your order. Once you have completed your details at checkout you will be required to complete payment.

The total amount to pay (including applicable VAT and shipping charges) will be advised before the option to proceed to payment is given. We will process your order once we have received payment for the full price of the goods, including applicable VAT, and where applicable, the shipping charges. 

If after you place an order, you request an amendment we may be able to make minor changes such as colour/size at your request (if those items are in stock) If there is a price differential we will refund the amount (if less) or provide you with a link for additional payment (if greater).

We are unable to amend the billing address or delivery address. If you notify us that an error was made by you we will cancel the order and ask you to place a new one.

Order acceptance

Once your order has been placed you will receive an order confirmation email  acknowledging receipt of your order details. This email is not confirmation that your order has been accepted.

An order will be deemed as accepted only when your order is dispatched. Non acceptance of your order may occur, for example but not limited to, the following reasons:

  • The product is out of stock or sold out and we are unable to ship the items to you within the quoted lead times.
  • We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment or your payment has been withheld by the payment provider
  • We notice that details you have provided such as billing address, delivery address, email address are incorrect
  • We identify a pricing or product description error.
  • We suspect a fraudulent transaction has taken place

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to accept or reject any order. If we reject your order we will email you giving the reasons why and refund any monies paid at time of order placement.

Dispatch timescales

We aim to dispatch within 1 to 3 working days and delivered within 2 to 5 working days, excepting where:

  • The item/s you ordered are on PRE ORDER

Items that are on PRE ORDER will be advised on the product page. The product page will give an estimated delivery and shipping date.

  • The item/s you ordered is out of stock for longer than we are able to ship your order to reach you within the timescales provided.

Items shown on the website are mostly available for immediate dispatch to you or are scheduled to be available within a day or two, meaning we expect to ship your order within 1 to 3 workings days and for your order to be delivered within 2 to 5 working days, if you have opted for standard delivery or have qualified for free delivery.

If your item is not in stock and availability of the product will take longer than your chosen delivery method (standard delivery / express delivery / next day), we will back order for you at your request.

You will always be given the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Failed deliveries

It is your responsibility to ensure you are able to accept delivery of your parcel at the shipping address advised to us at the time of placing your order. 

We will deduct any return costs incurred by us when a parcel is returned to us. This deduction will still be applied if you subsequently choose to cancel your order as a result of failure to collect, reschedule or ensure someone is at home to take receipt of the delivery if a specific delivery date has been agreed.

Parcels returned to us because you have failed to collect (if the parcel has been returned to the depot) or rearrange a suitable delivery date will be cancelled and a refund, minus the cost of return will be made to your original payment method.

Should you still wish to receive the goods you will need to place a new order with us online.

Lost parcels

Royal Mail parcels will only be investigated after 15 working days from date of dispatch. To avoid unnecessary investigations please check with your local delivery office first before contacting us about a parcel that has not been received. Your parcel is most likely awaiting collection after an attempted delivery.

Items that are lost on route will be investigated by us submitting a claim to our delivery partner. If your parcel does not arrive we will refund or resend the parcel only after they have completed their investigations. Our delivery partner must have completed their investigation before Bebeco re-sends replacement items. 

Part of any investigation into lost parcels will entail us passing information about the parcel to our delivery partner, which may include your name, address and telephone number.

Any investigation undertaken by our delivery partner may include our delivery partner revisiting the delivery address. 

Depending on the nature of the claim, it may take our delivery partner some time to complete their investigations. It could take a number of weeks but all issues will be dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Returns

We will be happy to make a refund or exchange within 30 calendar days of receipt of your order and ask only that the items are returned in their original packaging, unused, unwashed and in re-saleable condition.

We reserve the right to return your parcel to you if the item(s) have not been sent back to us in their original re-saleable condition. You should ensure parcels are well packed and protected to minimise risk of damage in transit. Items that are not returned in re-saleable condition as described above will not be refunded.

Returned goods that do not meet our conditions of return can be sent back to you if you request it. We will ask for payment of £3.95 to cover our shipping costs and will return your parcel to you once payment has been received.

  • Any returned item(s) must be accompanied by a completed returns form which can be obtained by emailing returns@bebeco.co.uk and posted to the address shown on the returns form
  • We cannot accept responsibility for parcels that are returned without this form
  • Our returns address is: Bebeco (Returns),  95 Freestone Way, Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9EE
  • Refunds can only be made to the original payment method with which payment was made
  • We cannot refund return postage costs if the item is not faulty
  • It is your responsibility to obtain a proof of postage receipt when sending back goods.
  • Refunds will take into account any promotional discounts or discount codes applied at the time of the order
  • Once you have received our returns authorisation reference and returns form please send back the item(s) within 14 days

Exclusions

Certain items are not eligible and are excluded from our returns policy.

These items are excluded for hygiene reasons if the seal has been broken or are bespoke and have been customised for you at your request. These items cannot be returned under any circumstances other than a manufacturer fault.  These items will be described as non returnable on the product page.

Order cancellation

You may cancel your order within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you cancel your order within 14 days of receipt of goods we will refund the cost of the item and the original delivery charge if applicable.

  • Costs incurred by you in sending the item will not be reimbursed unless the goods are faulty
  • If you are returning an item that was part of a larger order we will refund only the cost of the item

Returning Items under our 30 day returns window

If you have changed your mind and wish to return an item you must do so within 30 calendar days of receiving the products.

We will refund you order, including standard shipping charges if applicable. Shipping charges paid at time of the order will not be refunded if you upgraded to next day or express delivery.

If your original order qualified for free delivery and you return only some of the items on your original order this may mean your original order no longer qualifies for free delivery. We will subsequently deduct a standard shipping charge of £3.95 if the final order amount falls under the free delivery threshold.

Your statutory rights are not affected. Distance selling regulations apply to orders made over the Internet. Under the regulations you have the right to cancel any order within 14 working days of receiving the order. It is however your responsibility to take care of the goods before returning them. 

Product and manufacturing faults

If your product is faulty on receipt or develops a fault within the 30 day return period we will offer either a refund or exchange.

Faults that occur after this and within a reasonable period will either be sent for repair or replaced in line with the manufacturers guidelines and warranty agreements.

Pricing Policy

Bebeco tries to ensure that all prices and descriptions shown on the website are correct, nevertheless errors may still occur. We assume no responsibility for errors or omissions on the website.

If we discover an error in the pricing of the goods you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will then be given the opportunity of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will consider the order cancelled and void any payment authorisation that has taken place or provide a full refund if payment has already been taken.

If the error is in the product description we will notify you as soon as possible. You can then choose to continue with your order or cancel it.

All published prices are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Descriptions

To the best of our knowledge, the product descriptions on the site are accurate and up-to-date, but we are continually working to improve our products and so specifications or designs changes may be made from time to time which have not been reflected on the site.

We include images of products on our site to help you with your selection. However, slight variations, for example, in colour, should be expected. All measurements and weights are approximate.

Payment Policy

Credit Cards: All payments must be made in UK Sterling (GBP) and must be made at the time of placing the order by credit or debit card. 

Currency: Our payment transactions are conducted in UK Sterling (GBP). We are unable to offer any alternative currency payment options. 

Product Availability

If a product is unavailable we will identity it as such on the website. Whilst every attempt is made to keep this information up to date and accurate, some products may sell out before we are able to update availability. If this occurs we will contact you with an option to cancel your order. If we are unable to contact you or do not receive a response to our email we will continue to process your order and ship out the items once stocks are available again. If we are unable to receive the stock and get your order to you within 30 days we will cancel and refund your order.

All products are subject to availability. If due to unforeseen circumstances it is necessary to substitute an item, the item will be of equal or greater value to the one it replaces. We will only substitute a product with your prior consent.

We have taken all the essential measures to make sure that any information you give us, including credit card details, remains secure and that your payment and registration information is processed securely.

WEEE Regulations 

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK. Recycling reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Bebeco is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us. Customers must return their like-for-like WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Bebeco nor any of its employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or the information, content, materials or products included on this site. This comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties. For the avoidance of doubt, Bebeco does not limit its liability for death or personal injury to the extent only that it arises as a result of the negligence of Bebeco, its employees or other representatives.
