Stokke® believe that early physical and emotional contact between parent and child is of crucial importance. That’s why Stokke® Care™ is designed so that you face your child, whilst space for your feet allows you to get closer to your baby. Stokke® Care™ raises your baby to your height, encourages all-important eye-contact and frees your baby’s arms and legs, promoting play and interaction. So now you can spend hours together having fun… until it’s time for another change, of course.
The wooden construction means Stokke® Care™ will last for years. Its slim form is designed to fit narrow spaces, whilst giving plenty of storage space. Safety rails add extra security allowing you to focus in the job at hand. However, you should nonetheless never leave your baby unattended on the Stokke® Care™ changing table.
When a changing unit is no longer needed Stokke® Care™ can easily be turned into a small desk. The desk shape and size is perfect for two children to play games, paint or draw on. Later Stokke® Care™ can also be used as a practical bookshelf, a CD rack, TV station or a combination of them all!
Stokke® Care™ can also be converted into a larger school desk with the use of the extended table-top kit (purchased separately). This extends the length of the desk to 120 cm at a height of 72 cm.

Guidelines
Face your child at changing time. Encourage eye contact and interaction between you and your baby. Stokke® Care™ is height adjustable, giving two different working levels - simply adjust according to the most comfortable height.
Stokke® Care™ is designed so that you can place your feet under the unit and be closer to your baby, using the sidebars to rest, taking the weight off your feet.
Maintenance:
Wood - varnished and stained

Dust as normal.

Remove stains with a damp cloth without detergents.

If the dirt remains, use a mild, natural detergent.

The use of concentrated synthetic detergents is not recommended.
If your Stokke® Care™ gathers dust, talcum power, lotion, or other spillage.

Wipe with a soft, damp but not wet cloth.

Wipe dry, ensuring not to leave any moisture.
Do not use a micro fiber cloth or spray household cleaners as they may damage the finish of the changing table.
Mattress
The Stokke® Care™ mattress is water repellent, and resitant to liquids and spillage. To remove spillage from your Stokke® Care™ mattress wipe simply with a dry soft cloth until all moisture is removed. Clean, wipe off dirt with a wet rag and a mild detergent.
The mattress can be soaked in water or washed in a machine, but please note that the foam inside will absorb a lot of water and it will take a long time to dry.
