Southwark Council offers households a subsidy of up to £40 to help them get started with using real nappies. Households that choose to wash their nappies at home can claim up to £40 of the cost of their real nappy purchases.

To take advantage of either scheme, households will have to provide the following evidence 

• Photocopy of birth certificate or maternity card 
• Proof of residency 
• Proof of purchase of cloth nappies (if applying for cash back option)

You will need to fill in a subsidy claim form  (downlopad from their website) and send it to the following address, together with the relevant documentation
