For best results when you make the change from synthetic laundry to natural laundry we recommend that you run a washing machine clean-up cycle (use a spoonful of Home Scents washing machine and dishwasher cleaner). When you have been using synthetic laundry products the residue left from these can build up inside your machine and if not cleaned away these smells are masked by the strong chemical fragrances in these detergents and become more noticeable when changing to natural laundry products.
Engineers recommend a monthly clean of your washing machine to keep things running smoothly and cleanly.
