Estimates suggest that in Hammersmith & Fulham, more than 14 million nappies are thrown away every year There are a lot of myths surrounding real nappies, but the truth is they are good for the environment, easy to use and easy on your bank balance too. 

Hammersmith & Fulham Council has signed up to the Real Nappies for London scheme to encourage new parents to make the switch to real nappies.   

You can get a free voucher to pay for nappies – either exchange the voucher for a nappy pack provided by the council (which contains a range of home wash nappy types to test which works best for you), or if you have already decided, to help you invest in a set of real nappies. There a limited number of vouchers available on a first come first serve basis.
